This property is registered with the City of South Padre Island Permit No.2015-701578 The New Bahia Mar has just had a multi million maker over! Come swim in our 2 brand new pools with hot tubs or play tennis on our new courts! No roads to cross, just walk out the door and you are at the beach. This is a spacious, two bedroom, two bath, second floor Condo just a few steps from the 2 large swimming pools and beach Access. This condo just got new wood tile flooring, new refrigerator, new dining table and a beautiful leather living room sectional. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. Everything you could imagine in your own kitchen is here for you to enjoy without the worry. Water sports, beach chairs and umbrella rentals are available. Maximum occupancy is 6. ****PLEASE NOTE: Babies and infants count toward the total occupancy of a reservation. Unfortunately, guests will be denied access if over the maximum number of people. Number of guests will depend on number of people on the inquiry, no extra will be added. Children under the age of 4 will be counted as an occupant. Our Staff will enforce the maximum occupancy and can prevent trespassing of unauthorized persons. Special cases can pay for extra guests ($85.00 each) , but must be called in by owner to change the reservation. ****WRISTBANDS ONLY REGISTERED INDIVIDUALS WILL BE ALLOWED INTO THE PROPERTY Wristband fee on high season weeks March 6-April 11 and May 20 th -August 15th ($15 per wristband) for extra security. Will be charged upon arrival at the resort. Parking Notes: Renters are allowed two parking permits. An additional temporary parking permit can be issued ONLY if authorized by New Bahia Mar Management for the renting party and for a $50.00 fee per vehicle. Parking is limited and permits must be displayed at all times. Please note that absolutely no boats, trailers, or R.V.s will be allowed on the property. Water Access: The resort property has direct beach access!

Very clean, well stocked & pictures of the inside of condo through vrbo are spot on. Very comfortable & nice, up to date furnishings. It’s on the second floor, no elevator. However the pictures on vrbo are little misleading, as the first two pictures on vrbo are of the pool, giving you the impression it’s a condo overlooking the pool. It is not, you can’t see the pool nor the beach, unless you hang way out over the right side of the balcony you can see the ocean, however I knew that you couldn’t see the beach when acquiring. But I did think you could see the pool.  It was a nice & comfortable stay. About 170 steps to the pool & 265 steps to the beach. Nice property well maintained & well lit! If you looking to sit on the balcony & see the ocean look else where. There again very nice condo just not able to see the ocean. Everyone was pleasant & courteous.

Really enjoyed this condo and resort. Would stay again. The unit itself and communication with the owner were great. The building in which the condo is located, as well as the surrounding sidewalks, could use power washing. The condo does not have an ocean view. Has easy access by a keypad.

I was looking for a nice, safe place steps away from beach and pool to relax for a worry free vacation and this condo offered it all!! Kitchen had everything I needed, it was great to cook breakfast then walk to the beach then walk from the beach to the pool and back to the condo for lunch and repeat. The condo is also in between both pools of the resort giving us more options. This is my first time I a Texas beach and the ocean water was above my expectations. I would definitely stay here again.

The resort is outstanding and the host is very professional and prompt. The apartment was clean and the beds were comfortable. But the condo is mostly carpeted and feels damp and dated. The location is otherwise great and the resort is excellent.

Annually two-three friends and myself travel to SPI because it has the prettiest beach in Texas and it's always island time. I've stayed at multiple properties and I think Bahia Mar will become my base camp. I like that it's at the North end of town. Bahia Mar has a fabulous outdoor cabana that's included in the price. We spent hours there daily and we were < 100 feet from the beach with our own very comfortable lounge chairs, large umbrellas and a dedicated access point to the beach. The hot tub is clean and large. Our condo was clean, quiet and the amenities were nice. We cooked more than ate at restaurants because it makes the vacation better (and we can day drink). The host was super accommodating when we had a change in the plan and I thought the price was great. We didn't overlook the ocean but we could hear and smell it. The beds are comfy, the bathroom and appliances are clean, and the internet service was strong. We never turned on the television. We'll be back next time. Scott (Austin TX)

The outside makes everything worth it. The pool and beach are amazing- couldn’t ask for a better location! The rental itself is huge. There was a ton of space for my family and my parents. My husband was even able to work from home there for 4 days. Bedrooms are large. Living and dining room is a bit small, but we barely spent any time there other than eating. We were outside enjoying the pool and beach all the time. You are within walking distance to some great bars and restaurants.

The condo was neat and clean with new furniture. The beds were more comfortable than our beds at home. The staff and other guests were friendly. The view on our deck was of beautiful flowers and palm trees. We are right next to tennis courts and one of the pools. My little boys played on the palyground and could see the fireworks from the playground. We will be back.

The condominium is excellent with two pools, tennis court, grill area, and they even rent tents and chairs at the beach. The apartment is spacious and nice. The cleaning crew is a little slack so you might have to clean some of dirty yourself. Two big bedrooms, nice living area. The kitchen is ok, with a low ceiling. It is a good choice for South Padre Island, we would definitely stay in this place again.

Wonderful family getaway! The resort is definitely the best at the island. We have stayed in different condos at different places but Bahia Mar is by far the best. When we arrived the cleaning service was just leaving the condo so everything was spotless. We noticed they had just installed new carpeting. We loved having 2 queen beds in each room which were very comfortable. The towels were all new and the kitchen was fully stocked with new pots and pans. We will return to this condo on our next getaway because of the location, price and owner which was very helpful with island tips. Definitely worth it.

The grounds were beautiful and excellent security. Loved having the deck along the beach to sit and enjoy the gulf. Condo was pretty good especially for the price, it had everything we needed for our quick getaway. Our friends stayed at other condos and had a LONG walk to the beach, ours was a few steps away. The condo doesn't have a beach view but it's in the front part which was a plus with children not wanting to walk to far. We had great comunication with the owner which made our stay very pleasant. I would definitely stay here again next time!

Padre Island Rentals and Bahia Mar Condominiums Homeowners Association would like to welcome you and your companions to Bahia Mar Condominiums at South Padre Island, TX. We want to ensure the best possible experience for you and for all of our guests, so we ask that you follow the rules listed below as well as use common courtesy during your stay. Please follow posted rules on the property and any in-person instructions given by on-site staff. We genuinely appreciate your help in making Bahia Mar a great place to visit. Security

During busy seasons, guests may be required to pay a resort fee/purchase a wristband. If so, every guest must wear their Bahia Mar Condominiums wristband at all times. Children under 4 are not required to wear a wristband, however, they will be counted as an occupant.
Bahia Mar and Padre Island Rentals are not responsible for any damage to or loss of personal property.
Fire code dictates Occupancy Limits. See the next section for more detail. Guest capacity is strictly enforced.
Unregistered visitors are not permitted on the property.
Occupancy Limits

1 Bedroom – 4 max
2 Bedrooms – 6 adults, 2 children under 12 yrs old; 8 max
3 Bedrooms – 8 adults, 2 children under 12 yrs old; 10 max
Occupancy limits may vary for your specific vacation home rental. Please see your rental agreement.
Parking

Each condo will allow for a maximum of 2 (two) parking permits. Additional spaces may be rented at $54.12 per space.
Your parking permit should be visible while parked on the premises. 
Only authorized vehicles may use handicap accessible and maintenance/service parking spaces. 
Trailers for ATVs, Boats, or other Recreational Vehicles of any kind may be parked on-premises for a fee of $81.19.
Padre Island Rentals and Bahia Mar are not responsible for any damage to or loss of personal property; please secure your vehicle.
Pool Safety

Rinse off sand/tar before using the pool.
Proper swim attire is required.
Pool hours are from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm. Pools are NOT heated.
There is no lifeguard on duty; swimmers under the age of 8 must be chaperoned.
Children under the age of 5 are not allowed in the hot tub.
No diving/horseplay in the pool.
To prevent injury, please do not smoke or use glass containers in the pool area or any other common areas where guests may be barefoot.
Small ice chests and light snacks are welcome in the pool area..
Please do not relocate or reserve any tables or chairs from the pool area.
Pets are not allowed in the pool or pool area.
Amenities

Please do not relocate or reserve furniture from the sun deck.
Grills are not permitted on the sun deck.
Small ice chests and light snacks are welcome on the sun deck.
Please keep your music at a non-disruptive volume on the sun deck.
Health & Safety

For the health and safety of everyone, please observe these safety notices:

Do not use glass containers in common areas. 
Smoking is not permitted in common areas, and butts should be disposed of safely.
Please do NOT feed the seagulls on the property, balconies, or in pool areas. Bird feces can contaminate the pools and surrounding areas which exposes everyone. You can help keep yourself and other guests healthy, as well as keep maintenance costs down, by NOT feeding wildlife on the property.
Do not sit or lean against railings.
Grilling

BBQ Grills can be rented from the front desk inside the tower building. Grills are to be used in the designated grilling area only.
Grills are rented on a first-come-first-served basis. Rental hours are from 9:30 am to 10:00 pm. Small BBQ Grill fee – $37.89. Big BBQ Grill fee – $48.71.
Pets & Service Animals

Pets are allowed at Bahia Mar, however – some owners may not allow pets in their rental. Please see your rental agreement for details on whether or not your rental allows pets.
Please clean up after your pets.
Registered service animals are always welcome. Please notify us beforehand to expect your service animal.
Common Comfort

Please dry your wet clothing and towels indoors.
Smoking is not permitted in condos, hallways, or in common outdoor areas.
Shade structures are not allowed on the property.
Do not leave trash bags in hallways. Do not litter on the property. Do not throw cigarette butts on the ground.
We strive to regularly update our photos and listing descriptions; however, we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy in photos or descriptions.
Padre Island Rentals staff works diligently to maintain sanitation and inventory; however, if you find something lacking, please reach out to Padre Island Rentals so we may promptly address your needs.
The following behaviors are cause for immediate eviction and a police report:

Indecent exposure
Lewd public acts
Public urination
Harassment
Threats
Violence
Public intoxication
Damage to property
Theft
Violation of any of the above or on-site posted rules, disruption of the common good, or partaking in any illegal activity on the property is grounds for eviction and/or a police report. Rental fees and damage deposits will not be refunded. Fines for any infractions will be levied.
